Pride has a long history as a protest, celebration, and act of liberation. In the United Church of Canada, “Pride celebrates the lives and ministry of LGBTQIA+ and Two Spirit people.” Pride Month also features specific 2SLGBTQ+ community events, such as Stonewall Day on June 28th, and Queer Youth of Faith Day on June 30th.
