Community Garden

Christ First has joined the fight against food insecurity by creating a community garden for some local residents. Applicants were chosen from a lottery in May and all hands joined together to prepare the plots for planting. Gardeners, families and church volunteers shovelled and raked many yards of topsoil and compost to create 22 plots. A BBQ was a tasty reward for all the workers.
